Warehouse security is about stock, doors and vehicles. A trailer in the yard, a fire exit propped open, or a driver who is not on the booking sheet are ordinary problems that become expensive if nobody is watching. Match the cover to the operation
A 24-hour distribution site usually needs someone at the point where people and vehicles enter, at least while goods are moving. A locked storage unit on an estate often does not. It needs checks, a working alarm, and someone who will attend. That second version is mobile patrols and key holding, not a static officer sitting in an empty office.
We will ask when your inbound and outbound peaks are, whether agency staff change often, and who is allowed to open a dock door. Those details decide the post. Plants and construction entrances are described separately under industrial security.
Estates we are asked about
Enquiries come from estates around Darlaston, Wednesbury, Birmingham, Coventry and the M6 corridor north of Walsall. We do not list client warehouses. If you have more than one unit, a shared patrol can be more sensible than a guard in every building. We will say so.
What the assignment can include

Checking aisles, fire exits and offices that should be locked, on a route you have agreed.
After the last shift
A close-down so the building is actually secure when the operation stops, not assumed to be.
Multi-unit estates
Patrols that call at several buildings on one loop, with a record of each check.
Questions
Do you provide night warehouse security?
Yes, where a night officer is the right post. If the building is closed, we may recommend patrols or key holding instead. Tell us whether anyone is working overnight.
Can one officer cover two warehouses on the same estate?
Sometimes. It depends on the distance, the gates and whether both sites need someone present at the same moment. We will not agree a post that cannot physically be done.
Do you monitor CCTV for warehouses remotely?
No. We do not sell remote CCTV monitoring. Officers can follow your on-site camera instructions as part of a manned or patrol assignment.
